The fascia board is the vertical board that finishes the eaves and rake of the roof. If you have old wood fascia, this is a way to dress up your home and remove the maintenance of painting  every few years.  This is generally done with either an aluminum wrap or a vinyl wrap.  It can be done in a wide variety of colors to coordinate with any siding color and is most commonly seen in white, brown, black or tan.

Soffit is the part under the eave that faces the ground. This serves a few purposes: 1) cosmetic - it covers the rafter tails and underside of the roof decking;  2) protecting that wood from weather, insects or animals. In most cases it is or can be vented to provide better attic ventilation.  This helps extend the life of your roof and helps prevent ice damming.  A  wide variety of colors as well as different looks are available. Whether you are in Grand Rapids,Holland or Muskegon, we will come to you for a FREE consultation and estimate on your curb appeal make over.
